The Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program recognizes the hard work that you put in every single day and your commitment to preparing your children and students for both academic and professional success. The Young Thinkers Program is one of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education’s flagship programs. This video shares some thoughts about how the Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program can help you do that.
The Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program is the only fully digital program of its kind in the entire Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Tailored for Emirati and Arab youth ages 15-35 with free and customized resources available in both Arabic and English, the Young Thinkers Program designed the content to align with the regional context, the demands of higher education and the jobs of the future.
The Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program aims to instill good citizenship in young people by focusing on active, global and digital citizenship. To create this program, the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education (AGFE) partnered with Arizona State University, a world-class university, recognized as the most innovative and fastest-growing research university in the United States.
There are three major obstacles to university and career readiness for youth: a lack of career possibilities, a lack of career-focused training in the school system and limited career advising to prepare Arab youth for the job market.
Our platform provides Arab youth with a career exploration tool, career readiness courses as well as career-related news and opportunities so they can find and be prepared for careers they are passionate about.
The Young Thinkers Program includes university and career-readiness courses and resource channels with announcements, as well as university and career advice from ASU-trained Success Advisors.
The Young Thinkers' innovative platform is available to Young Thinkers 24/7 from the comfort of their own home or classroom, both in Arabic and in English!
The Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program platform is free for young Arabs. No dream is too big, and no challenge is too great. Equipped with the right knowledge, skills and resources, anything can be achieved!
